Excelling Locally, Linking Globally!
Our Civil Engineering department prides itself in producing topnotchers with Engr. Marvin Ebora, Licensure Examination 8th placer, adding on the list. Aside from students’ success, the department, and the university as a whole, take pride in having established international connections such as that with Nihon University.
The Japan-based University, through Dr. Nobuyoshi Yashima, has forged a partnership with our institution way back 2009 with the establishment of the International Exchange Activity Program through our Civil Engineering department. We formalize such linkage through an annual signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with the purpose of promoting friendship, establishing mutual understanding, and developing industrial skills through cooperative research. Since then, both universities have been conducting multi-faceted studies that allow structures to have better endurance of earthquakes and other natural disasters among others.
There is a great demand for Civil Engineers in the country with President Duterte setting his eyes on infrastructure projects. Be among the preferred graduates that companies are looking for. Make CIT-University your TOP choice today!

Ar. Ian Dave Cordova, 7th Place in the Recent Architect Licensure Examination, Was Officially Recognized and Awarded by the Institution Last March 2, 2018
“I became a topnotcher because I wanted to be a topnotcher. I wanted it bad. I wanted it from the bottom of my heart. That was my goal. I did not become a topnotcher by accident.”
Those were the words of Ar. Ian Dave Cordova, 7th Place in the recent Architect Licensure Examination, who was officially recognized and awarded by the institution last March 2, 2018. Ar. Cordova shared to the younger Technologians, who were looking up to him as an inspiration, the story on how he succeeded. One of the secrets he revealed was his discipline – delaying gratification and giving up some wants (even playing DOTA) – while he was reviewing for the examinations. He said that his desire, determination, and yes, discipline gave him a competitive advantage and ushered him towards achieving his goal.
Ar. Cordova received a cash incentive as a reward from the administration and a brand new HP laptop sponsored by Vibal Group, Inc. He also had for himself the limited edition Wildcats Cap which is given only to Licensure Exam topnotchers.
